Just like in the cases that Honorable Judge O'Reilly hears, presides and rules on, he just cannot get the facts straight. In his Judicial candidate interview with the Louisville Courier-Journal:

I represented abused, neglected and dependent children and served as the President of Children First, an organization which worked to help sexually abused children and their families. I have the ability to see things from different perspectives. My strong work ethic serves me well. Yet the Louisville Bar Associations 2005 and 2006 Judicial Evaluations rank Judge Joseph W. O'Reilly last. The lowest ranked of 10 family court judges in Jefferson County, Ky.

Ok just saw this Blawg, putting Judge Dolly Wisman Berry on the top of the list is so upside down it is not even funny, I have never been personally involved in Family court but I have seen her in action, as someone who has been a lawyer for almost Twenty Years, I can honestly say she is the most Biased, Lazy, Incompetent Judge I have ever witnessed on any Bench.
Any connection between her court room and an arena of justice is purely an accident.

I will agree the judge really needs to look at the facts because at this point he does just the opposite. I will agree he needs serious help and more importantly the courts need to look into him a lot more closely. He protects the woman not that he shouldn't, but be fair to the male as well especially when you have so many facts in front of you. You appoint professionals to oversee key issues then you don't follow there recommendations what does that say. A lot of time, doctor's, attorney's and money spent for him to not follow the facts is sickening. O'Reilly claims he's for the children and he writes he's for the children, however this is far from the truth as he drags the case on and on. He makes a ruling then contradicts his own ruling a month later. Many attorney;s get together because they can't figure out what's going on. This judge is ranked the lowest of 10 judges and there's a reason because the facts don't lie.

so far all you see on here is how this incompetent judges screws people over but it goes deeper his idiotic decision allowing gerry seidl to have his guns back after threatening to kill his wife dorene seidl even after her and her daughters pleas was a clear cut example of his incompetence shame on him and the ones who could remove him from the bench they are just as guilty her blood is on their hands "GOD" will judge this judge.
citizens for better judges needs to take a closer look at this man. he repeatedly maintains the lowest score apparently people are being hurt even killed by his inability to do his job whether its incompetence or bias its bad my first attorney told me going in it was going to be bad i felt he was reluctant to do his job out of fear of angering this judge when asked to appeal a bad decision he said we don't want to piss this judge off after my divorce trial my second attorney said only people in dresses do well in this court room. judges decision: very one sided in her favor thanks again judge.

I AGREE WITH WHAT IM READING BECAUSE I HAD FOLLOW ALL COURT ORDER IN HIS COURT ROOM AND HE WAS TO RETURN ALL MY CHILDERN AND I HAVE THREE BOYS AND ONE GIRL AND THE COURT ORDER WAS TO RETURN ALL MY KIDS THAT DAY AND HE DECIDE TO RETURN MY BOYS AND NOT MY ONLY GIRL IT WASN'T FAIR. HE HAD THE ORDER RITE IN FRONT OF HIM THAT WAS A PROMISE THAT HE TOLD ME. I JUMP EVERY RIVER AND MONTAIN AND DID EVER THING THAT I WAS COURT ORDER TO DO. AND HE DIDNT FOLLOW THE ORDER. HE GAVE ME MY BOYS BUT NOT MY GIRL AND NO ONE CAN UNDERSTAND THAT...MY DAUGHTER IS NOW LEAVING WITH SOMEONE ESLE. It's been 17 years since this judge ruled against me in an EPO, made me homeless,lost the equity and my inheritance. I have never recovered.
Look how many years, still poor because the judge allowed the rich ex to be husband to steal the equity in my house and made me homeless. I'm disabled, so a double blow. Surprised not more comments.
